Paint 

• Old paint should always be removed to get the best finished result for any new paint application.
• Different surfaces may require specific primers or sealers before any top coat paints are applied.
• The final top coat application has many variants when applied. A professional painter must have experience with these variables to get the desired outcome.

Panel Alignment

• Panels must always be aligned and set prior to any painting.
• Hinges may need replacing or have a new pin kit and/or bushes inserted for greater stability when opening/closing.
• Fixed panels must not be welded until all panels are aligned.
• Doors in many cases will require realignment after all hardware is reinstalled.
